CONTACT LENSES
Contact lenses are thin and disk like material made of a highly biocompatible substance. It is worn on the external surface of cornea. Contact Lens corrects refractive error in a same way the glasses do. Contact lenses are used to correct: Myopia (nearsightedness), Hyperopia (farsightedness), astigmatism (blurred vision due to the shape of the cornea) and Presbyopia (inability to see close up). Most people prefer contact lens over eye glasses.
